Bee   GREETINGS  Bee

 TO ALL BEE GUY CUSTOMERS

Finally….Spring is here! I hope it’s a good one. We all deserve it after this past winter.

For those of you who met my son, Bret, 2 years ago when he was helping me; he has just finished his 2nd year of medical school. He will take his boards in May and begin rotations shortly thereafter. I’m so proud of him. I think he will make a wonderful doctor. He loves what he’s doing even though he’s broke and in debt.

We just celebrated the first birthday of our grandson, Robert, with our daughter and her husband in South Carolina. Now we’re all hoping for another one in a year or so.

Grandson RobertThanks to my wife, Reeta’s time and efforts, I now have a website. It went live last August. I am thrilled with the results; certainly the way of today and the future. Please check it out at thebeeguy.com. The little guy in the bee costume is my grandson.

Now is the time to get on the list for the 2008 Bee Abatement  program.  Depending on the weather, I will again be offering my services beginning in late April or early May and continuing into early June.  Call to get on the list and if you are one of my customers with severe reactions to stings (life threatening) please indicate that when you call. Feel free to call me at your convenience, but I have more time to talk if you call after 4pm.  I’m looking forward to being busy again and visiting with all of you.

For those of you who were a one-time spot treatment customer last year and don’t know what an  ABATEMENT is, I will briefly describe it here.

Each year I visit the customers on my abatement list and go over the entire exterior of their home.  Using an environmentally friendly pesticide, I do a crack and crevice treatment that kills all existing nests and prevents new ones from being built. After that one treatment, I guarantee the entire property to be free of flying, stinging insect nests for the entire season.  If new nests are found, I return free of charge, in a timely manner and take care of them.  This includes areas that were not initially treated, such as trees, bushes, retaining walls, landscaping or anywhere you might discover an active nest. Let me give you a phone quote for this very effective service. Note: This abatement very specifically controls wasps, hornets and yellow jackets. It does NOT target Honey Bees. I have a list of BeeKeepers who assist me in removal and relocation of Honey Bees.

Asian BeetleASIAN BEETLE UPDATE

For those of you who have a beetle problem, any treatment now is a waste of your money and ineffective because the beetles are already in your house. The treatment needs to be done in the fall of the year. Last autumn my Asian Lady Beetle treatments were again very successful!   A nice by-product of the Beetle Treatment is the elimination of cluster flies and Box Elder bugs.

It is best to get on the BEETLE List ASAP. The 4-6 week window of opportunity for treatment in the autumn season limits the number of customers I can effectively service.

I look forward to making your home a safer and more enjoyable place for the 2008 Summer Season.
